I shook it up a bit and voted for Devsigner it sounds more Dr Evilly or Evillish I am not sure which is grammatically correct, please let me know which wins but up until then I will continue calling you Kyle and your evil twin brother the doppleganger of Kyle

I think I prefer designeloper myself, as well. As for not wanting to be thought of as developers, I think it’s an aversion to being over-associated with pocket protectors, no matter how good you are at code.

We see this type of questioning a lot, we ran a similar poll on UMS a year or so ago and I always ask people their opinions on what they call themselves. I think hands down most web designers/developers are going to consider themselves designers first and foremost.

Personally I like “designeloper” over “devsigner”. It puts the “design” first…
