As for An Event Apart, it is an awesome conference. It was the first ever web-related conference I&#039;d ever been to and the chance to network with people there was great. Coming from a job where there is only one other designer and no web-geeks it really helped to learn new stuff (or re-affirm that I was on the right track in some stuff).

And when one of the hosts is willing to autograph your book for you, you know you&#039;re in the right place... (yeah, my wife made fun of me for that one.)

So, when are they going to ask you to do a presentation at AEA?</description>
